Stock lived in Excel and Google Sheets.
Over a thousand items spread across multiple files, with no images attached to any record, no single source of truth, and nothing a buyer could browse. Changing a listing meant editing a cell in one file and hoping the others matched.
Buyer enquiries arrived as unstructured email with no photographs and no record trail, so every valuation started from nothing.
Selling into four language markets left one honest choice: maintain four versions of everything by hand, or do not sell in four languages. Neither is a business.
Inventory software
A Postgres-backed catalogue replacing the spreadsheets entirely. Multi-image support, estimates, per-item slugs, and staged and published visibility so stock can be prepared privately and released in a single action. A single canonical fetch layer means hidden items cannot leak onto public pages.
Programmatic listings in four languages
French, English, Spanish and Catalan generated from one record. A listing is entered once, not four times. No duplicate entry, and no parallel site trees to keep in sync.
A custom dashboard
Client-facing admin for stock, enquiries and site copy. Every string across all ten public pages is editable in all four languages without a developer and without a deploy. Tag-based cache invalidation puts changes live immediately.
A valuation enquiry flow
A public form with direct image upload, posting through a server action into structured records in the dashboard. Sellers submit photographs and detail up front, so every enquiry arrives complete.
Ten custom pages and a design system
Typography, colour, motion and a button system, built from scratch for this business rather than assembled from a template.
